Refund Policy
At Layaan Abayas, each piece is made to order with care and precision. As such, we do not offer refunds or returns on orders due to change of mind, incorrect sizing, or delayed delivery within our standard timeframes.
Please ensure you refer to our [Size Guide] before placing your order to select the correct fit.
However, if you receive an item that is defective or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order, along with clear photos, and we will assess the issue and offer a resolution, which may include a replacement or store credit.
Note: We do not accept returns or exchanges for items that have been worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery.
Delivery Times
All abayas are made to order, which means we begin production once your order is confirmed. Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for your item to be made before it is dispatched.
We deliver nationwide across South Africa for a flat fee of R120. Once your order is complete, you will receive a tracking number and estimated delivery date. Delivery usually takes 2–5 working days after dispatch, depending on your location.
Terms & Conditions
1. Order Process: By placing an order through our website, you confirm that all details provided are accurate, including sizing and delivery information. Once an order is placed, it cannot be changed or cancelled.
2. Size Selection: Please refer to our Size Guide before placing your order. As all items are made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for incorrect sizing.
3. Production Timeline: Each item is made to order. Please allow up to 4 weeks for production. We do our best to deliver within this timeframe but cannot be held liable for unavoidable delays.
4. Shipping: We use reliable couriers for all deliveries. While we aim for prompt service, Layaan Abayas is not responsible for delays caused by third-party courier services.
5. Customisation: If customisation is available, it must be clearly discussed and confirmed before placing your order. Any specific requests should be submitted in writing.
6. Pricing: All prices listed are in South African Rands (ZAR) and include VAT unless otherwise stated. Delivery fees are added at checkout.
7. Intellectual Property: All content, images, and designs on our website and social media platforms are the property of Layaan Abayas. Use without permission is prohibited.
8. Privacy: Your personal information will be used solely for order processing and communication purposes. We do not share your details with third parties.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
